Get Involved
CSBA is a volunteer-run organization and our work would not be possible without our amazing group of volunteers. Please support CSBA and its mission by getting involved with one of the following committees. You have to be a CSBA member to join a committee; join CSBA.
Communications Committee
The Communications Committee is responsible for providing marketing and PR support to CSBA. The committee builds awareness of the CSBA mission and promotes its programs and events to the membership and the community through the website, e-newsletters, social networks, and other marketing and PR initiatives.
We are looking for volunteers to get involved in the following areas: PR, writing/editing (press releases, web content), design, photography (events) and project management/coordination. Contact: Ida Cheinman, Director of Communications at ida@csballiance.org.
Events Committee
The committee works on organizing CSBA Green Mondays – a monthly event that offers educational and networking opportunities to CSBA members and guests. The committee is responsible for venue and speaker selections, sponsorships, registration and the day-of activities. We are looking for volunteers to help us with this key initiative. Membership Committee
This committee has responsibility for actively recruiting new members, developing strategies for reaching prospective members, and following up on membership leads. This committee is instrumental to the overall success of CSBA’s mission and we are looking for more volunteers to help us support and expand our membership. Sponsorship Committee
This committee is responsible for identifying, developing and communicating with CSBA sponsors, looking for ways for sponsors to get involved in CSBA’s activities, and coming up with new strategies for future sponsorship opportunities.
